My work is born from silence and intuition. Not with a concept, but with a feeling. A wall, a shadow, a texture – I was drawn to it without knowing why. I started clicking. Only later, when I saw the images I was struck by wonder; as if something I sensed unconsciously had taken form. This is how it all started.
My work explores abstraction in the natural world. I capture fragments – bark, stone, wood, light, reflections, and frame them in such a way that the image floats between reality and painting. They all bear a specific signature. Stillness is the key. Some images come to live unexpectely where others seem frozen. This provides intriguing creations where tranquilitity, motion and decay meet.
My work acknowledges the beauty in imperfection. In erosion, in decay, weathering obsolescense. It’s all part of the whole in which nothing is permanent. Each photo is a moment of stillness, a quiet invitation to look again, and more slowly. To look with your heart.
Printed on aluminium, the images gain depth, texture and a luminous intensity. What emerges is a kind of visual poetry – grounded in nature, open to interpretation.
I work primarily in series. Series continue to expand. Works of different series can be combined and give a beautiful feel to every space. Inside or outside.
